I had first ordered from Bonatsos last year and was very pleased with the experience. I placed the order Valentine's Day morning and the flowers arrived to my wife's work in the early afternoon. So, in an effort to be loyal to a small business with which I had a pleasant experience, I ordered an arrangement this Valentine's day. I placed the order around 9:45 AM expecting that they would again be delivered in the afternoon. Although the flowers and the arrangement were beautiful, they did not arrive to my wife's work until 8:49 PM. I was under the impression that the flowers would have arrived during office hours since that precedent was set the year prior. As the end of the work day drew closer, I had to call my wife to inquire whether the flowers had arrived, which ruined the surprise. I did try calling Bonatsos to ascertain an approximate arrival time but the mailbox was full and could not accept messages. I understand that they may have been overwhelmed with orders, I just wish I had been notified of the possibility for such a late arrival. It would have given me the opportunity to change the delivery address or to make other arrangements. We all know that wives enjoy getting flowers delivered to their place of employment, so I was disappointed that the flowers arrived so late in the evening. For the money that was spent, I could have purchased 3 arrangements form my local store and brought them home myself. Again, the arrangement was beautiful and my wife received them the next morning, I was just disappointed that they didn't arrive in time on Valentine's Day.
